WHS Training FAQs
Have questions about OSIAT’s online workplace safety courses? Our WHS training FAQs provide answers about course access, purchasing, workplace training options and how our online courses work.
What is OSIAT?
OSIAT provides online Work Health and Safety (WHS) induction and training courses for Australian workplaces. Our courses help businesses provide practical, accessible workplace safety training online. These WHS training FAQs explain common questions about our courses, while we also offer customised training options for organisations with specific requirements.
Who are these courses designed for?
Our WHS training courses are designed for workers, supervisors, managers and businesses that need practical workplace safety training. Most courses require no previous WHS knowledge, making them suitable for both new and experienced workers. Businesses can also use the courses as part of workplace induction, refresher training or ongoing safety education.
How do I access training after purchase?
After you purchase a course, you will receive access to your online training so you can begin learning. You can complete the training online using a compatible device and internet connection. This makes our WHS training suitable for workers who need flexible access to workplace safety training.
Can I purchase more than one course?
Yes. You can purchase individual courses or select multiple WHS training courses to suit your workplace needs. This allows businesses to provide training across different safety topics rather than relying on a single course. Contact OSIAT if you need help selecting suitable training for your team.
Do you provide training packages for businesses?
Yes. OSIAT can provide WHS training options for businesses that need courses for multiple workers or different workplace safety topics. We can also customise training to incorporate your organisation’s branding, policies, procedures and workplace information. For example, this can help make training more relevant to the hazards and requirements of your workplace.
Where is the data stored?
OSIAT uses secure Australian-based hosting for its online training services. This helps businesses manage workplace training while keeping course information within an Australian hosting environment. In addition, organisations using customised training can discuss their specific hosting and delivery requirements with us.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds may be available within seven days of purchase where you have not accessed the course materials or received a certificate. Once you have started accessing the course, we do not provide refunds for change of mind. Please review the course information before purchasing or contact OSIAT if you have questions about whether a course is suitable for your needs.
