Course Information
Every worker has the right to go home safe, and every employer has a legal duty to help make that happen. This course covers the fundamentals of Work Health and Safety (WHS) in Australian workplaces clearly and practically.
WHS Essentials gives workers, new starters and small businesses a solid, no-nonsense understanding of workplace safety. It explains what WHS laws expect, how to recognise hazards in everyday tasks and what workers can do to reduce risks.
In addition, this course focuses on how safety works in real workplaces rather than theory for theory’s sake. Learners explore common workplace risks, safe behaviours, incident reporting and personal WHS responsibilities. As a result, they can better understand what they need to do to work safely.
Whether you are completing a safety induction, refreshing your knowledge or meeting workplace training requirements, this course provides a practical foundation you can rely on.
