Course Information
Emergencies don’t give warnings – fires, medical incidents, evacuations and other critical events require fast, calm and informed action. This course gives workers the knowledge they need to respond correctly when something goes wrong.
Workplace Emergency Preparedness provides a clear, practical overview of how emergencies are managed in Australian workplaces. It explains what emergencies may occur, what workers are expected to do and how following established procedures protects lives.
This course focuses on real-world readiness, not panic-driven scenarios. Learners are shown how to recognise emergency situations, respond safely, follow instructions and support emergency wardens and responders without putting themselves or others at risk.
It reinforces that emergency preparedness is not just managements responsibility – every worker plays a role.
This course takes approximately 20 mins to complete.
